ATSFixer ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information: Email address, name, and optionally an avatar. Collected when you register.
Profile data: Work history, education, skills, and other career information you provide during onboarding or profile setup. Used to pre-fill resume generation and autofill workflows.
Resume and job description content: Text you submit for analysis. This is processed to generate optimized output and stored in your account history. It is not shared with third parties outside of AI processing described in Section 4.
Usage data: Number of generations, plan type, credits used, feature interactions, and session timestamps. Used for billing, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and a privacy-preserving device fingerprint. Used solely for security and abuse prevention.
Payment information: We do not store payment card data. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We receive only transaction status and plan identifiers.

We do NOT: sell your personal data to third parties; use your resume content to train AI models; send marketing emails without your explicit consent; share your personally identifiable information except as described in this Policy.
To generate optimized resumes, your resume text and job description are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This is the core function of the Service. Anthropic processes this content subject to their own privacy policy and API usage policies, and does not use API inputs to train their models. You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
We minimize the data sent to Anthropic to only what is necessary to generate your output. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers to Anthropic.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database with infrastructure hosted in the US and EU). We use TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Despite industry-standard protections, no method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data breach notification: In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal data, we will notify affected users as soon as practicable — and in any case within the timeframe required by applicable law — via the email address on your account.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Resume generation history is retained for 12 months from the date of generation. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records required for tax purposes, typically 7 years).

ATSFixer is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms for international data transfers where required by applicable law (including GDPR).

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data in compliance with GDPR.
We use only session cookies strictly necessary to maintain your authenticated login state. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from logging in to the Service.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 16 has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at request@atsfixer.com and we will delete that information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
