Terms of Use — ATSFixer Job Summarizer
1. Acceptance
By installing or using the ATSFixer Job Summarizer Chrome extension (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, uninstall the Extension. Your use of the ATSFixer web app (app.atsfixer.com), including resumes you generate there, is governed by the ATSFixer Terms of Service.
2. What the Extension does
The Extension reads a job posting in the tab where you click its icon, shows a structured summary (role, company, responsibilities, requirements and more), lets you copy it, and can open it in the ATSFixer web app so you can tailor your resume to that job. It is provided free of charge and does not require an account.
3. License
ATSFixer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for your own job search. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Extension, or use it to provide a commercial service to others.
4. Fair use and AI-fill limits
When a page is missing information, the Extension can use ATSFixer's AI service to fill it in. This service is subject to fair-use limits (currently 25 AI fills per day per installation, plus per-network limits), which we may change at any time. You agree not to:
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, for example by resetting installation IDs or using multiple networks or automated tools;
- call ATSFixer's servers other than through the unmodified Extension, or use them as a general-purpose AI service;
- use the Extension for automated, bulk, or large-scale collection of job postings or other website content;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or overload ATSFixer's servers or services;
- use the Extension for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend AI fill for installations or networks that violate these rules.
5. Websites you use it on
The Extension only reads pages you choose to open it on. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the websites you visit. LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Workday, Ashby, Lever and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. ATSFixer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them.
6. Accuracy
Summaries are produced automatically, partly with AI, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always check the original job posting before relying on a summary or applying for a job. ATSFixer is not responsible for the content of third-party job postings.
7. Privacy
How the Extension handles data is described in the Extension Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION OR THE AI-FILL SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE ON ANY PARTICULAR WEBSITE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATSFIXER AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION. BECAUSE THE EXTENSION IS FREE, ATSFIXER'S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO IT SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the Extension and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. You can stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the Extension or any part of it at any time.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The dispute-resolution process in the ATSFixer Terms of Service (informal resolution first, then binding individual arbitration) applies to these Terms.
